On October 16, the EPIIC project proudly hosted its first demonstration day for the Crew Monitoring System at Leonardo's premises in Turin, Italy. This event marked a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance military aviation technology through innovative solutions.
The demonstration showcased the remarkable progress made by the EPIIC consortium, with Dassault Aviation leading the charge. Leveraging its extensive experience with both legacy and state-of-the-art fighter cockpits, Dassault has been instrumental in redefining the crew-machine relationship to ensure seamless integration and enhanced operational efficiency.
During the event, attendees were introduced to the innovative features of the Crew Monitoring System. This system is designed to optimize mission performance by detecting various crew states, including cognitive, interaction, collaboration, and functional aspects. The focus on crew monitoring emphasizes our commitment to improving pilot performance and safety in high-stress environments.
We extend our gratitude to our incredible partners who contributed to this achievement: HAT.tec, Airbus Defense & Space SAU, INDRA, Leonardo, Next2U, the University of Zagreb, and Thales NL. Together, we are paving the way for the future of aviation and pushing the boundaries of technology and collaboration.
As we move forward, we remain dedicated to continuing this momentum and exploring new horizons in military aviation technology.
