The paper explores a foundational architecture for emotion-aware adaptive interfaces in fighter aircraft cockpits. It investigates how monitoring emotional and cognitive states can inform machine responses—creating a cockpit that adapts dynamically to the pilot’s situational and mental status.
This work supports one of EPIIC’s core ambitions: to integrate human-centric AI technologies into mission-critical environments, enhancing pilot support, safety, and decision-making under pressure.
Stay tuned as more EPIIC research continues to shape the future of pilot–machine interaction.
